Mimir Games was formed in 2014 in order to produce software that attempts to increase scientific literacy and STEM awareness in society, while also assisting teachers in the education sector. We believe that we can use the power of games to transmit both the knowledge and passion we have for science. Using games as a medium we can give scientists a place to present their field. By exposing people to a large variety of interesting but fairly unknown technologies, such as Micro Electrical Mechanical Systems and Electron Beam Freeform Fabrication, we can spark people’s interest in science. This focus on technology and showcasing the incremental improvements through various game mechanics will make science and the STEM fields more accessible to the public. |
